Your Friday Smile!

A little one, just right for this time of year...

A little boy wanted $100.00 very badly and prayed for weeks, but nothing happened.

Then he decided to write God a letter requesting the $100.00. But when the postal authorities received the letter to God, USA , they decided to send it to The President.

The President was so amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy a $5.00 bill.

The President thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.

The little boy was delighted with the $5.00 bill and sat down to write a thank-you note to God, which read:

Dear God,

Thank you very much for sending the money. However, I noticed that for some reason you sent it through Washington D.C. and those assholes deducted $95.00 in taxes !!!

Respectfully,
Drew

If you've read this blog, earlier this week, you know how I've been feeling...

I was depressed last night so I called Lifeline.
Got a call center in Pakistan.
I told them I was suicidal.
They got all excited and asked if I could drive a truck...

C'mon! It's a little funny! ;-)

Have a great weekend!
If you haven't yet, please click on my sidebar link "Bloggers' Birthday"
and tell me when your birthday is!

Here's a variant on the first one . . .

A little boy kneels down at his bedside and begins to pray.
"Dear Lord, please bring me a new bicycle. I will be good to my sister."

He leaps up and runs to the window . . . no bicycle.

He goes back, kneels down again.
"Dear Lord, please bring me a new bicycle. I will be good to my sister and clean my room every day."

He leaps up and runs to the window . . . no bicycle.

Frustrated, he gets an idea. He runs into his parents room, grabs the picture of Jesus off the wall, wraps it in a towel and shoves it under his bed. He gets down on his knees once more and says,
"Dear Lord, give me the bicycle or you will never see your son again!"

Happy Friday!
