For example "a glass" he doesn't think "un verre" (in French) or "pojar" (in Hungarian), but he thinks, something to contain... Now, that is weird to me, but that's how his brain works... I guess?!

ananke: Yes it is! ;-) Yet, more things we have in common!

pawpads: The tissue I blow my nose in. I realised that I use a corner (instead of the middle), so I can get 2 uses out of one... and I do re-use tissue paper for gifts as well...

Humm, maybe I should have said that I was "cheap", that would have covered it!

marius: Thanks!stinkypawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04418558395508830375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25689012.post-41823151174101075872007-11-19T10:44:00.000-05:002007-11-19T10:44:00.000-05:00I have done your nefarious bidding. Do you mean tissues that you blow your nose in or tissues that you wrap pressies in?

It's at times like this that it's even more frustrating to speak the same language but have a million different meanings.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25689012.post-9073095945226492342007-11-18T20:10:00.000-05:002007-11-18T20:10:00.000-05:00Oh my gosh, I do/have done most of that stuff myse...Oh my gosh, I do/have done most of that stuff myself! Except that I don't have to rub your husband's calf to fall asleep. But Im simple like that. I only know je joue ou foot and other classroom type phrases in french. I was once asked to say what i did over the weekend as an speaking exercise and i came out with 'Je suis tennis'.

I think that you will know that thats not right.

And thanks for the tag, That'll give me a free MoFoPost!Purple Pigeonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09550675294412799759noreply@blogger.com
