I'm being hit coming and going these days. This afternoon I went to the post office and on my way back, this woman in front of me (I'd say ten steps ahead) goes into the entrance of an office. By the time I walked ny it, she backed out of the entrance (since the door was looked) and rammed into me. Good thing I was aware of my surrounding (karate pays off every so often!), and blocked her (hard, oops!) and said "Watch it!". She looked so stun it was almost funny. She mumbled sorry and turned around.
How dumb of me to think someone, of any age, would know that backing up on a busy street isn't the brightest idea? Oh well.
Can you believe a restaurant, where a group of people will be having dinner to celebrate a birthday, when asked if we could bring a birthday cake gave the following options:
a. you can get the cake thru us, for a fee of $50
b. if you bring in the cake, we'll charge you $2/pc for cutting it and serving it.
Nice, huh?

I wish more people would "Watch it!"
It's not that difficult! As for the restaurant, eat cake first, then just order hors d'oeuvres and drinks!
;)
Hugs!!
I have never heard of a restaurant charging a fee for cutting a cake someone brings in!
I love that you said watch it, I don't know why but when people run into me when they are not looking I always say I am sorry?? Maybe I need to take karate.
The cake thing is crazy, places around here do that too, you should have blocked them. Hard.
:-)
I mean I could understand if they charged you $5 flat or soemthing because they are cutting it, providing cutlery etc but $2 a piece?
Wankers

WC: I know, it really surprised me!
Michele: There are a LOT of people I should block...hard!
