I'm alive...

...just not kicking much. Sorry. I've been busy, to say the least, AND the weather is finally getting warm, so I've been trying to catch some rays, but haven't had much time yet.

Coming back from a client, late tonight, had a funny moment with a squeedgee, while stopped at a red light, picture this:

Montreal, downtown. A tired, hungry woman heading home at 9 o'clock at night after a long day at a client. She's munching on some raw vegetables while she's driving. The light turns red at a busy intersection. Three guys come out of nowhere, squeedgee in hands. They all look like life has chewed them up and spat them out. Sad. One of them walks toward her car. She waves him no, but the kid keeps on walking with this blank look on his face and attacks her windshield. She just sits there, munching away, too tired to honk or anything of the sort. When the kid makes his way to the driver's side, she rolls down her window and says:

"Sorry, I only have veggies... do you want them?"

After a big sigh, the guy finishes the windshield, and put out his hand. She gives him the bag, which only contains a few baby carrots, one or two broccoli and a piece of sharp cheddar. He takes it and says: "Thank you ma'am" and walks away.

That kid was in a serious need of a good scrub, but at least he did have some veggies today, eh.

That was my Sophia* moment, ah!

hahaha class!

I've never understood windscreen washers - isn't that what the squirty jets and wipers on the front of your car are for?

You are very funny. i hate to bother you again but you seem to have a wonderful command of this blogger system. As I stated I'm new and I habe no idea how to run this thing. How can I add you to my following blogs. "I've always depended on the kindness of strangers." Blanche DuBois Streecar Named Desire

PP: I think they "kind of" do a better job that then the wipers but then again, it depends on the water they use and the condition of their squeedgee.

The guru: Thanks...

Robert: Depending on the guy, I've seen some just walk away, and others told me to f*ck off, so it depends on the guy and its level of intoxication, I guess.

Daddy P: Ah! Good one!

GEM: Bah, if he's really hungry he'll take anything. I've given a fresh cucumber once and the guy ate it right then and there! I offer and they take.
