What is your dream job? And What do you think is your purpose in life?

Let’s continue these answering questions posts. Since we started our company I haven’t really asked myself what my dream job would be, since I’m pretty much doing it. I have lots of flexibility, I make my own schedule, I don’t have to work daily, if I feel like cooking or doing something else mid-afternoon I just go and do it, so let’s be honest here and I pretty much have my dream job.

I’ve thought about this “purpose in life” thing, since it seems to be something to think about especially when one is faced with his/her own mortality. I’m not dying (well, I am just like the rest of us, but not because of a specific illness that I know about), and haven’t faced that moment, but so far I can say that I’ve lived my life with lots of challenges and always tried to face everything coming my way. I’m confrontational (or so I’m told) so I guess that would explain parts of it all. So far (a few months shorts of my 44th birthday) I can say there’s not much I regret doing or not doing in my life. I’ve taken chances, said and done things that some would say weren’t meant to be, but I did. That’s is just the way I am.

I don’t have the pretension to have been put on this earth to accomplish something special. I try not to hurt others intentionally. I try to be happy and to enjoy life and all its beautiful things. If I can help someone along the way, I’ll try. I do, every day, do the best I can. I try to trust that there is something good on its way to me, but I also know that I have to work for and at it…

I admire your world view- it must be very relaxing and likely makes it easy to roll with the punches.

You are to be congratulated; not many in this world can be as peaceful regarding their lot in life.

Monkey: I wouldn't say it's relaxing, 'cause I do stress out, but it is easier to face challenges...

Robert: I'm trying hard to be at peace; life is too short to live with regrets, anger, etc.

I'm pretty sure I stopped smoking and using drugs because the journey made me realize that I can heal most people. I give advice on a daily basis to people seeking answers in regards to their health issues.

I'm just trying to figure out why my journey has turned in the direction it has because now I'm helping people and animals.

I'm pretty sure I was put here to help others the best way I can. Have, teach, protect and love the children we have....

I think my dream job would be one where I could stay home and get paid big bucks to help people and read blog posts!!

;)

I loved your last paragraph. I agree.

Right now my purpose in life is to figure out a way to be happy and love more and hate less....

Hugs!!
