People who don't blog will often ask how do I know I'm really exchanging with whom the other blogger say they are - I don't and honestly I don't care - if someone chooses to come here, comment and post things that are all lies it is their choice and even if they might be lying it's not like I know them and know they're lying, so... nothing to me. I'm not getting hurt, attached or emotionally involved with them. They read me, I read them and we exchange or share if you will. I have made some types of connections with some - we've chatted and exchanged a little more, like we know our "real" identities on Bacefook (if even those are real, who really knows, right?), or wrote emails. Anyway, through the years I've made friends with some more than others. I'd love to get the chance to meet them.
Today, after a long day at a client, I came home to an empty house (I hate it, still not used to the silence when I come home), got our mail and had an envelop from the States. When I saw the sender's name I knew she was a fellow blogger. Last year we tried to get together when we drove down to Memphis, but circumstances didn't make it possible. She doesn't really blog anymore, but we manage to keep in touch through Bacefook.
When I opened the envelop and saw this, my heart warmed up and I got teary eyes. Look what she sent me...
To think that a complete stranger would take the time to think of me and my kitty cat this way, truly, really touched me. What a thoughtful gal she is. I'm blessed. Really.
Thanks again M. Loving it.
