High Sugar Level

Well, looks like it's official. I have fourteen* of you (so far!) willing to partake in my "Food Surrender" - Woohoo!

I'm so excited! I know it will be fun and most of all good! Hee.

I even made a seal for it, ain't it puuurdy? If you'd like to use it and promote your own "event" go for it!

I think we should not go too crazy, and limit ourselves. What do you think of a $20. limit (including shipping)? I think it's fair, because after all some candy bars can be heavy... ;-)

What about a dead line? Should we have one? Knowing myself I'll get on this really fast, I'm no procrastinator when it comes to food. Any suggestion?

I will contact each one of you, individually, and will "reveal" my name and address (oh no! you'll know my true identity and where I live)... so that if you really want to you can stalk me. Hee.

But then, you'll have to share the same, so... I guess this is also a trusting game.

This is all about making each other discover & enjoy different snacks. It doesn't have to be chocolate, it could be cookies, candies, lollies, nuts, gums or whatever else you can think of that can easily be shipped.

I know some of you have kids, so at worst if you don't enjoy what I've sent, your kids might!

Is there anybody allergic to nuts or something else, if so, please let me know. I wouldn't want to lose a blend to food poisoning or such. If you know of something that "we" have up here, and would like some, let me know, who knows I might feel like pleasing you that day...

So, this is it for now, if you have any question or concern, just let me know in the comments.

Sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday. I'm just a bit preoccupied with the show opening tonight and all. ;-) I'm also not quite sure what we have that's regionally specific. However my two favorite snacky type things are Orbit gum and Combos crackers. Do you have those things in the Great White North?

This is a fabulous idea - please do keep us posted on the progress. Enjoy !!!

marius: No need to explain, I know you're busy.

You might be surprised of how different things are. I've never heard of Combos crackers... And to be honest I'm starting to wonder if we really have certain things because I see them on tv, I'll have to make sure...

mousse: I sure will. I'll post about what I've sent and received.

Count me in. I'm always up for some junk food -- and I don't need an excuse. However, having a really good one makes it even sweeter. My mouth is watering already -- just please don't send me any Canadian versions of vegemite. That stuff is NASTY!

Count me in, then. You have my email, send me your address.

You know I am in! I love everything except coconut, dark choc, and mint. You don't have any of 'that' in Canada do you? lol Only the good stuff I heard! :)

Is there anything you don't like?

I don't think we really have anything local that everyone else couldn't get. But what the heck, I'll do it too.

tammie: Glad you decided to join in. And I will only send stuff I enjoy!

marius: Cool!

periwinkle: Yay! I love these things, but I will not send those, promise!

ananke: Cool! There's already something on its way to you, and then I'll send you something to snack on! ;-)

Aww, Tammie, if you eat cheese I could make you something with vegemite that would change your mind. Foreigners just don't know how to use it right!

cinnamon: I don't even know what vegemite is! I googled it and from what I can see it's a spread...

grail: Never too late to join the fun! Did send you an email.
