I called the Bellagio (where we'll be staying, thankyouverymuch!) and was informed they couldn't modified our reservation because we hadn't booked with them directly. I had to go thru expedia. Fine. I called them, waited over twenty-five minutes on hold before talking with a nice lady who told me there was no suite available for the time we'll be there. Great! She could offer us a bigger room, better view, more features in the living room, but still with one bedroom. Argh!
I guess we'll have to wait and see, on site, upon arrival if it's really the case, and if it is, well then... we'll deal with it!

Argh.
Charlie: I know!
You say there's a living room? If it's separate from the bedroom, and has a couch, all you have to do on the first night is you and FB Hubby get, um, busy. I guarantee Mom will take the couch from then on. ;-)
That's so dumb, especially on the part of the Bellagio staff. Most people don't make reservations directly with a hotel. You'll most likely be able to change once you get there and talk to the front desk people, but you probably won't get as good a rate. I would try calling again and asking to speak to the Front Desk (rather than reservations); they should be able to make the change for you now.
Marius: You're one funny man! You don't know my mom, obviously! ;-) But interesting idea... I think?!
flurrious: Thank you for that. I just called the Front Desk and at the moment they have nothinh available but the girl was nice enough to tell me I should ask when on site, since things change on a daily basis overthere.
Let's hope that someone cancels and a suite will open up for you.
You know I'm only 4 hours from 'Vegas right? Let me know if we can meet. I don't like surprises!
;)
Hugs!!
GEM: Let's hope so, but I have my doubts... oh well, it's only one week. I have to keep telling myself this! ;-)
If the couch is decent, I bet your mother will stay on it. That's what I would do if I was with a couple.
greenduckies: I have my doubts my mom will take the couch... if only because she's way too curious, and because afterall, she did pay for her share! ;-)
