I know you don't want to talk or hear about it, but it's coming!

No matter how much you try to avoid it, since the day after Halloween, Christmas decorations have been popping up!  Before we know it, Christmas will be here.  For you Americans, you have Thanksgiving to prep for.  I've realised it is way more celebrated by most than Christmas is. I think I prefer having ours when we do; it gives us time to recup before the Christmas madness.

I actually booked an appointment with my hairdresser for my first Christmas Party on Dec. 3rd.  That is in three weeks!  I'm done with most of my Christmas shopping, and I'll be starting my baking soon.

Last year we did a Merely Gift Exchange, aka Santa Paws.  I did enjoy it, but then again, I like Christmas and all it entails.  I know, not everyone feels this way about it...

On this fine November day, I want to know, would you want to partake into another gift exchange or this year we keep it simple and simple exchange Christmas cards?

Let me know what YOU'd prefer, please! Let's do this people, it's all good and no one gets hurt!

Seeing xmas stuff everywhere is killing me! It seems too soon, too aggressive- all together too much. Stores playing music, holiday decorations already- happening in your neck of the woods as well?

Not voting here- just looking for a new place to complain! :)

I'm afraid I'm going to have to decline the Santa Paws stuff this year. I loved what I got last year, but I fear I seriously disappointed my sendee as I have very few crafty skills. :-( But I'll gladly join in a card exchange. :-)

I've noticed. I will be sick of Christmas by mid-december at the latest.

We don't do gifts but we send cards with personal letters to each one.
