Meme Time: 7 Things about me

I’ve been tagged for a meme (talk about timing, I was going blank!)

Here are the rules:
a. Link to my tagger and post these rules.
b. Share 7 facts about myself: some random, some weird.
c. Tag 7 people at the end of my post and list their names (linking to them).

My “tagger” was Galoot.

Here's my list:

1. I can talk about anything, from body functions, sex to religion; I think I have no taboos, or very little…

2. I re-use paper tissue, i.e. I might use the same tissue twice (yeah, I know…).

3. I talk to myself, in my head, a lot, in English even if my first language is French.

4. I need to rub my husband calf with my foot before falling asleep.

5. When I think I tend to chew the inside of my mouth (just realised that as I was thinking about this…).

6. In elementary school I used to love to stay after class to clean the black board and vacuumed the erasers.

7. I never attended a sleepover, a graduation or high-school dance.

Here are my seven tags:

Ananke
Kim
Marius
Monkey
Pigeon
Simplypink
Wreckless

Have fun!

do you know, i always wondered which language bi-lingual people thought to themselves in.

Speaking only the one language, I find it hard to wrap my head around someone being able to be totally fluent in two languages. But Im simple like that. I only know je joue ou foot and other classroom type phrases in french. I was once asked to say what i did over the weekend as an speaking exercise and i came out with 'Je suis tennis'.

I think that you will know that thats not right.

And thanks for the tag, That'll give me a free MoFoPost!

Oh my gosh, I do/have done most of that stuff myself! Except that I don't have to rub your husband's calf to fall asleep. I'll bet that's a relief for BOTH of you. ;-)

When you say that you re~use paper tissues what do you mean? Do you mean tissues that you blow your nose in or tissues that you wrap pressies in?

It's at times like this that it's even more frustrating to speak the same language but have a million different meanings.

I have done your nefarious bidding. Come on by The Corner and check it out.

pigeon: Hubby, because he spoke 3 languages by the age of 5, says he thinks in concepts, not words. For example "a glass" he doesn't think "un verre" (in French) or "pojar" (in Hungarian), but he thinks, something to contain... Now, that is weird to me, but that's how his brain works... I guess?!

ananke: Yes it is! ;-) Yet, more things we have in common!

pawpads: The tissue I blow my nose in. I realised that I use a corner (instead of the middle), so I can get 2 uses out of one... and I do re-use tissue paper for gifts as well...

Humm, maybe I should have said that I was "cheap", that would have covered it!

marius: Thanks!
