Another one bites the dust. Wait, that's me!

Remember this?

This was what our place looked like before yesterday.

This is what it looked like last night...

Our dinning and living room furniture...

Ceiling and hallway wall
and kitchen ceiling
While they were doing the demo of all of this, I was stuck in our office. I write stuck and it was really that. They had taped me in the room. There are times when working from home isn't that great. This week is one of those times. Yesterday blew bubbles! In between the noise levels, the dust and being confined to the office all day, without food or water - our cat had better conditions than I did yesterday!

We went out for dinner, and on our way home, crossed one of the neighbour who contributed to our current situation... funny how he avoided our path or even our looks.

I NEVER go to bed before 1am or later; last night I was in bed at 9:30pm. Granted, I didn't really have any other choice, our living room furniture is sort of inaccessible...

Today they are demolishing the bathroom ceiling and will start rebuilding the ceiling in the kitchen/dining area. Let's hope everything goes according to plan.

So they didn't cover all your wood blinds? They're a pain in the butt to clean even when the house around them is being demolished.

What are you testing missiles there?

This too shall pass. Of course, there are advantages to going to bed early [wink, wink] ;)

OMG... Flebitte time!

We just went through kinda the same thing in our bathroom, albeit less extensive than your situation.

Our plaster is from 1908... God knows what me must have breathed in!

Bon courage!

Your house looks like a model home. Please let me know what kind of blinds you have, we still haven't put any up & I love how yours look.

Janes: You're too sweet, at the moment it doesn't look ANYTHING like a model home, well, maybe for a construction site demo!

We had our wooden blinds made localy. The manufacturer's name is Faber (Ameuriq inc), I hope this helps.
